King of the Librarians

Bill Barnes, artist and co-writer of Unshelved was kind enough to invite me to sign copies of Evil Inc books at his booth at the American Library Association midwinter conference. To say that Bill is a class act and a genuinely nice guy is an understatement.

We had a delicious lunch at the Reading Terminal Market and traded stories and webcomics gossip. Unfortunately, I had to head off to work, so I couldn;t hang around after the convention and help him celebrate his birthday, but really enjoyed the time I was able to spend.

If you haven't checked out his comic yet, do yourself a favor and head over there. It's truly one of the very best on the Web.

I had a chance to check out Mr. Barnes work at Comic Con last year. My wife and I picked up his first book and enjoyed it quite a bit. I got hooked on it and signed up on his e-mail list.

I work in a library, and identify with the strip waaay too much for comfort. I plan on sending the URL to all of my coworkers.

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
