POLL: Buttons!in News by GuigarTuesday, August 12, 2008 - 03:12 PM Ever since I announced the Evil Inc buttons for Comic Con a few weeks back, I've been receiving e-mails and forum posts asking if I was going to offer them on the site. Well, they look so awesome, it's hard not to, so I'm going to offer them in groups of three for $3.As you can see, there are three designs, a close-up of Lightning Lady (from the cover of EIARv2), an Evil Inc logo, and the VILF design. The buttons are 1.25 inches in diameter and shiny as all get-out. And, for the next week, I'll be throwing in a free set with any purchase from the Evil Inc Company Store. That includes the How To Make Webcomics book, Evil Inc Annual Report Vol. 3, Evil Inc Annual Report Vol. 2, and any of the annual report packages. This offer ends Aug. 19, so order now. I'm considering additional buttons for future conventions, including close-ups of Miss Match and Desdemona (in the same style as the Lightning Lady pin), and a few phrases from the strip ("You can do more EVIL when you do it LEGAL" and "PRIVACY: It's EVERYBODY'S business"). Hopefully you will still have some buttons for when you come to Baltimore, because I know I will pick some up then! As an idea (not sure how feasible it is) You could always offer a Con Exclusive Button of some sort. Something available only at each specific convention. That way us goons can by a couple extra and then trade for ones we do not have among other goons. For example I buy a couple of extra Baltimore Comic Con Exclusive buttons. Then either via online or real world networking I could trade for the San Diego Comic Con Exclusive button. Back in Boy Scouts we did something similar for National Jamborees, where we would bring extra Council Strips (The Patch you wore on you shoulder showing where you were from) and traded for Council Strips from different Cities or States. It was a lot of fun back in the day. Just a thought. --
