Battle over Battling Evil, Inc.

This current storyline is interesting. We know that Evil, Inc. will come out of this because evil tends to win (and tyranny of the narrative), but I wonder what would happen if we tackled all corporations like this, and if Evil Atom will take advantage of the heroes battling.

Do you think superheroes have the right to shut down legal entities?

Heroes do not have the ability to shut down legal entities because Heroes operate in a tenuous relationship with the law at best. In 'superhero world' they are tolerated by authorities, but a mass attack would result in their loss of status.

Of course, this is just the way things are in that world, which just HAPPEN to make it easy for villains to keep coming back! :)

I really enjoyed today's (the 7th) joke about intellectual property. I recently went into a joint venture with another person where I'm creating the comic for their website. If I had not listened to Brad and the Webcomic Weekly crew I would not have known to make sure and retain all rights to the comic!

In Response to Michael_Vox (#57644):

To be fair, the Evil Inc. universe is one of the few comic book universes with gritty vigilantes. Many of the superheroes are metahumans who wear colorful costumes and acknowledge their need for villains; that's probably why Cap never attacked Evil Inc. head on.
Interesting thought that the government only tolerates superheroes when they respect the law because we only saw that in one strip where Oscar was showing his "blackjack skills" to a cop. We don't see the police AT ALL in Evil, Inc. strips; they seem to say, "Let the heroes handle it and we'll handle the ordinary muggers."

Noticed the VILF (what's her name again? Desdemona?) in today's strip.

Her face is morphing like a rubber band.

Could that be Elastic Man in drag?
